The Harrogate District Community Safety Partnership is currently running its Spring crime prevention initiative. With crime levels continuing to remain low across the district, the focus is to maintain this and to encourage local residents to take some simple steps so that they are not a victim of crime and specifically not a victim of burglary.
We are continuing the 'Billy the Burglar' theme for our campaign which encourages people to think like a burglar, what would a burglar like and what would they dislike. By understanding what burglars look for in their target you will be able to identify any weak spots in your home's security.
The Community Safety Partnership currently has a STOP Anti-Social Behaviour campaign operating.

Safer Neighbourhoods work focuses on wards with disproportionate levels of crime, disorder, high fear of crime or low public confidence.
The Partnership delivers safer neighbourhoods by tackling anti social and unacceptable behaviour through the promotion of positive values and by challenging bad behaviour.
